Your primary role will be to work in a team assembling fabricated truck bodies on their return from paint, fitting components such as decking and hydraulics.

  3. Safety: Assembling products in a factory setting often involves working with machinery and potentially hazardous materials. A good assembler prioritizes safety, follows safety protocols, and maintains a clean and organized work area to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
  4. Teamwork: Assemblers often work as part of a team, collaborating with others to complete the assembly process. A good assembler communicates effectively, cooperates with team members, and contributes to a positive and productive work environment.
  5. Adaptability: In a factory setting, tasks may vary, and production schedules may change. A good assembler is adaptable and can quickly switch between different assembly tasks, adjust to new instructions or specifications, and meet changing production demands.

Prime Role and Duties:

  • Completing labour tasks in the Assembly 1 – 4 build instructions
  • Any other duties as requested by your line management
  • Ensure the housekeeping of the bay is to the required standard.

Requirements:

  • Woodworking and hydraulics experience.
  • Good personal responsibility and awareness of safe working practices.
  • Good knowledge of basic hand and power tools related to trade to ensure correct equipment is used for each individual task.
  • Ability to read and follow engineering drawings
  • Must be a reliable timekeeper.
  • Physically fit.
