- Adaptability: In a factory setting, tasks may vary, and production schedules may change. A good Fabricator is adaptable and can quickly switch between different tasks, adjust to new instructions or specifications, and meet changing production demands.
Prime Role and Duties:
- Working to the Fabrication build instructions to Fabricate and weld Beavertail trucks.
- Ensuring to work safely at all times and adhere to Company H&S requirements.
- Cutting and fabricating of steel parts
- Welding – Down hand, Vertical and Overhead.
- Ensure the housekeeping of the bay is to the required standard.
- Any other duties as requested by your line management
Requirements:
- Skilled in MIG welding.
- NVQ Level 3 or Apprenticeship in Fabrication and Welding.
- Good personal responsibility and awareness of safe working practices.
- Good knowledge of basic hand and power tools related to trade to ensure correct equipment is used for each individual task.
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings
- Must be a reliable timekeeper.

- Daily progression percentage.
- 5s Housekeeping score.
